The Ergo Chef's Prodigy Series (12" Slicer / Carving Knife) is specially designed for carving large meats with ease. The knife features an Ergonomic Textured Non-slip handle that provides comfort and balance during use. The razor-sharp slicer is made from high-carbon (5Cr15Mov) stainless steel with a hand-polished 18-degree edge, allowing for perfectly thin and even slices.

The blade is heat-treated to 55-57 HRC, carefully tapered for improved hardness, flexibility, and minimal slicing resistance. The hollow grounds on both sides of the blade reduce friction, promoting efficient and effortless carving and slicing. The Prodigy Series 12" Slicer knife was specially designed for slicing large meats with ease, including roasts, brisket, ribs, prime rib, turkey, pork roast, ham, and smoked BBQ.

The High Carbon Stainless (5Cr15MoV) Steel blade is heat-treated and tempered to sustain sharpness. The razor-sharp 18-degree edge is designed for maximum cutting performance. The hollow ground ovals in the blade create pockets of air, which prevent food from sticking and reduce friction, allowing for easier motion and higher efficiency.

Ergonomically designed, the non-slip handle promotes balance and comfort, and is NSF Tested. This versatile knife is suited for slicing everything from meats to cakes to sandwiches.
